Q. 1 . What is the Post A Project Service?
   
Ans. The Post A Project service gives you the ability to submit an IT project to us. We will provide you with a quotation to carry out the work. You can manage all of your projects on-line through this web site for your ease of use.
   
 
   
Q. 2 . What sort of projects can I post?
   
Ans. Just about anything IT related. We list some of the services, products, skills and experience that we have on offer, but there are simply too many to list them all. Some of the more common projects are Web site Design & Construction, Logos, Banners, eBrochures, Data Analysis services (such as Report Writing, Programming Code Snippets, SQL, VB and much more) and Bespoke Applications. Q. 3 . What support do we have for the work you carry out?
   
Ans. All of our work (unless stated and agreed before commencement) automatically includes 12 months post completion support. You will be given the contact details of your account delivery manager based in West Sussex who you can call or email should any issues arise. They will be resolved quickly and at no extra cost to you.
   
 
   
Q. 4 . Why do we need the 12 months post completion support?
   
Ans. Our work is carried out to an extremely high level and will undergo testing before it is presented to you. However, regardless of how well the programming has been done or how much testing has been conducted, there is always a small possibility that some bugs may occur. If this happens, we will resolve them quickly and at no extra cost to you. The support we offer covers all of the work that we have carried out on your behalf.
   
 
   
Q. 5 . Can I purchase extra support periods beyond the 12 months included?

Q. 6 . What experience do you have?

Q. 7 . What are the payment terms for 'Post A Project' work?
   
Ans. Work carried out under the 'Post A Project' service will be invoiced when the project has been completed.
   
 
   
Q. 8 . There are 2 download links and there are different items on both. Why is this?
   
Ans. The 'Download' link in the main banner (coloured white text on black background) shows items that are available for download by everybody. The 'Download' link that is positioned next to your name at the very top of the page (blue text on white background) shows items that have only been made available for you to download. This is where your 'Post A Project' downloads will be. Please be aware that you must login first to see the latter link.
   
 
   
Q. 9 . What is SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)?
   
Ans. SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is a method of constructing a web site so that it can be easily catalogued and listed by search engines (such as google, MSN, ASK and more).
   
 
   
Q. 10 . How do I get my site listed on the first page of google results?
   
Ans. There are bundles of information on the web about how to achieve 1st page google results, but beware as many of them are misleading (particularly those offering this in exchange for payment). Q. 11 . Can I see examples of your previous work?
   
Ans. Yes, of course. Please click on the 'View our Portfolio' link on the right hand side of this page. Please note that these are just some of our projects. If you do not see any examples that are related to your project, please contact us and we will send you some more information.
   
 
   
Q. 12 . How quickly can you start my project?
   
Ans. Projects can normally be started the next working day as long as we have agreed the details, cost and timescale.
   
 
   
Q. 13 . What if I want to make changes to my project after it has started?
   
Ans. It is sometimes the case that customers wish to make changes or additions to their project after we have started work on it. This is fine. If the changes do not result in additional work then we are happy to make them at no extra cost. Additions to your project can also be done as many times as you wish. We will provide you with a fixed quote (hours x £17.50) for the extra work and once you have given us the 'go ahead' then we will integrate the additions in to the project development.
   
 
   
Q. 14 . What are your payment terms?
   
Ans. Once you have decided to use Bailworth Solutions for your project, we will invoice 50% of the cost at the start of the project and the remaining 50% at the end. If your project is particularly large then we may be able to agree a multi stage invoicing plan, please raise this issue with us and we can discuss and agree a fair plan for both you and Bailworth Solutons.
   
 
   
Q. 15 . How long will my project take to deliver?
   
Ans. This depends on the details of the project and how much work is involved. We have a large concurrent operating capacity and can deliver thousands of hours of work to customers every week. We will discuss your project with you and your required deadline and tell you if we can achieve exactly what you want. We work in an honest and ethical manner and so sometimes may not be able to deliver your project by your required date if there is a large volume of work and a particularly tight deadline to meet, but all of this will be discussed with you and agreed prior to the project commencement.
   
 
   
Q. 16 . My project is only small. Can I still get a quote?
   
Ans. Yes, of course. We have delivered projects for customers ranging in value from £25 to tens of thousands. We promise you the same great level of service, whether your project is large or small. We will then provide you with a quotation, timescale and project start/end dates.

Ans. We are always happy to provide you with no obligation quotes on your projects, regardless of how big or small. Q. 19 . I want a fixed price quote for my project because I have a strict budget. Can you provide this?
   
Ans. Although our services are advertised as £17.50 per hour, we will always offer a fixed price quotation. Once we have had an initial chat with you to understand in detail what your requirements are, we will provide you with a fixed price quotation. This will be simply calculated by us telling you how many hours of programming are needed to develop your solution and multiplying this by our standard rate of £17.50 per hour. All of our development services (that is any project) automatically includes 12 months support completely free of charge.
   
 
   
Q. 20 . What do I do if I have a project and want more information on how to get a quote?
   
Ans. We want to help you make an informed decision when choosing the person or company that will develop your project. We will discuss your requirements and make appropriate suggestions based on the information you have given on how we propose to develop your project. If you already know what you want and how you want it delivered, then we will be happy to follow your instructions to the letter and will start by providing you with a no obligations free quote.
   
 
   
Q. 21 . What type of projects use programming?
   
Ans. Almost all projects that you could possibly think of will require programming. There are simply too many to mention but the basis of almost any software, application or 'program' is coding (AKA Programming). The type of programming that is used depends on the nature of the project. Ans. All of our development services are available at just £17.50 per hour. Development services are normally delivering a customer's project. This can include building a web site, CMS, database, application, information system or any requirement that requries one or more programming skills.
